4 Horsemen of the Apocalypse by ~el-woopo burns with furious exuberance, so full with fervor as to verge on spilling that passion beyond all physical constraints. A sensual, volatile series that calls for a closer look. Please enjoy! ( Suggested by 1pen and Featured by snowmask )

I've seen it in print. I don't have the magazine unfortunately, let me see if I can get it from school. If you like I can scan it and send it to you somehow. There must be some contact information as well.It was featured on an article about the horsemen along with some other pictures related to the subject. I don't remember any modifications on the pictures yet I don't think that it is something tolerable. I'll try to get the magazine once I go to school and let you know.

I adore these interpretations of the Horsemen. I really love how sensual but terrifying you've managed to make it, with the figured rotting and their red eyes, and the wildness of the hosrses.

Beautiful work.

Conquest?
Its pestilence

Actually it is Conquest, not Pestilence. Conquest, aka the Anti-Christ, is the first of the four horsemen and will unite all of the world under one banner, remove all weapons from man, and then everything falls apart as War hits the scene, followed by Famine, then Death.

Sorry for this being so long after your original post, but yeah...

No. I don't like it.
The subject is so clichéd and you didn't show us anything special.
It looks like we know how it should look like.
I don't agree work deserves a Daily Deviation. Why?
Because it's not sensual. You used old painting tricks to show the rage, misfortune and disaster. It's soooo obvious and make all the paintings boring!
Ok. It's one of the most known fragments of the New Testament. And what? You disappointed us!
You used the two most popular subjects: a woman and a horse. And you used them in the most ordinary way! You made woman a femme fatale...Boring!

You have a talent, ok. I will not deny it.
But you use too much balck, and you add TOO MUCH white to make colour brighter. It makes colours flat and not really intense and interesing.
You made four paintings. AND they all look the same. If you didn't write this, I wouldn't guess which one is War and which one is Conquest or Famine.
I'm talking right now about technique, about way of laying the paint.
I looked into you gallery. It's really sad. You draw and paint everything in one way.
I'm not a hater. I'm not a troll either, and I'm, not writing this because I want to make you angry or something.
I hope you understand and accept my criticism to heart.
I wish you a lot of successful work in future :)"

You're looking at it from a specific illustrational viewpoint, which is not the intention considering the context that el-woopo is attempting to build in his gallery. Reverse it and it becomes clear that he's using the horsemen to illustrate his own subjects.
He knows what he's doing.

No, I mean that he's making comparisons, not really illustrating. It's like a metaphor, I suppose.

I really like this adaption of the whole concept ^)^ I saw the title and was like "Wait...didn't we go over that painting in History class...?"
But Ir eally like the way you created it ^_^ I like the colors and flowy-ness (I guess you would say) about it.
I also happen to be a horse lover, and you captured both the human and horse expressions very well :) Especially the skeletal one, lmao.
